Our
History
OrganoBiotech is a biotech startup founded in 2021 out of Dr. Zhang’s lab at McMaster University, Canada. Its foundational research was supported by McMaster University, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and the Canada Foundation for Innovation, among others. The company is based at the McMaster Innovation Park.
Our Vision
At OrganoBiotech, we develop advanced platform technologies that replicate complex biological processes to accelerate drug discovery. By combining state-of-the-art tissue models with generative AI, we enable deeper insights into human biology and strengthen confidence in new medicines. Our vision is to transform drug discovery through next-generation phenotypic modeling and data-driven innovation.
